From Wikipedia:
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog is a 43-minute musical film produced exclusively for Internet distribution. It tells the story of Dr. Horrible, the aspiring supervillain alter ego of Billy; Captain Hammer, his nemesis; and Penny, their mutual love interest. The movie was written by writer/director Joss Whedon, his brothers Zack Whedon (a television writer) and Jed Whedon (a composer), and Jed's fiancée, actress Maurissa Tancharoen. The writing team penned the musical during the WGA writers' strike. The idea was to create something small and inexpensive, yet professionally done, in a way that would circumvent the issues that were being protested during the strike.
Neil Patrick Harris is awesome in it and it just the perfect little quirky thing to entertain and delight you all. For 43 minutes anyway. You can see it here, but I'm going to post the fun song "Laundry Day" below for a little sample.
Have a quirky, fun, amazing, and awesome weekend everyone!

OMG, I LOVE NPH!!!! *grin*
John & I just saw "Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay"...Neil Patrick Harris was hilarious!! :)
Did you see either of the Harold & Kumar movies? NPH is my favorite part of both of them. :)
NPH in the 1st H&K movie was hilarious because he had completely fallen off my radar and then busted out in that movie with the "cocaine on the hooker's ass" thing which was HILARITY. Now he's tons more popular, so the 2nd movie was a little too dumb for me. I'm going to start watching that TV show he's in because we saw it on the plane and I got hooked.
That is cute. I will have to check out the whole thing.
Sfoofie, you must be talking about "How I Met Your Mother"--I LOVE that show!! :) I seem to remember Lorrainey taking a liking to it, too, if I'm not mistaken.
sage: I think you'll like it.
MHP: yep, that's the show. not sure why I wasn't watching it before.
